The Olu Institute of Learning Inc’s mission is to promote learning and mentoring through educational enrichment programs aimed at underprivileged youth in underserved and urban communities in the central Florida area. In the past, the founder, Dr. Vincent Adejumo, created educational enrichment programs targeted towards these groups, and has been a key contributor to philanthropic activities pertaining to underprivileged youth . For example, Dr. Adejumo helped launched a Free Breakfast program in Gainesville Fl independently that not only provided free breakfast to children in a low-income areas, it also entailed an educational enrichment program that educated the participants about politics, economics, and history as it pertains to American society. The Olu Institute of Learning Inc. planned activities are to attain funding resources as a registered 501c3 nonprofit through grants and charitable giving for the purpose of creating, and in some cases when appropriate, collaborate with other nonprofit organizations to administer educational and mentoring programs that focus specifically on uplifting youth in central Florida. The Olu Instittue of Learning Inc. also plans to raise funding through public and private sources to distribute scholarships, grants, and other in-kind donations such as school supplies, to youth again in the central Florida area.
